Media engagement complements outreach activities, raising awareness of the research in the community and helping reach out to a global audience. In addition to regularly featuring in Curtin media releases, publications and social media, members of the Space Science and Technology Centre make international headlines, are sought-after and actively engage with the media around the world.

In 2020 alone, our group hit the news over 1,515 times, with this coverage reaching a cumulative audience of 15,490,836 and had an advertising space rate of AUD$ 114,972,221.
